SVP SHORT STORIES
Short Vowel Phonics Short Stories has 16 stories in "chapter book" format and is written for struggling readers in Grades 2-4. The text is written in short vowel words, v-c and c-v-c pattern, and some stories that also include short vowel words with consonant blends. Six non-phonetic sight are used: a, as , has, his, is, the. Stories have 8 to 20 sentences. Worksheets are included to evaluate comprehension and phonics skills and to practice written expression. These stories are a compilation with/without modification of selected stories from Short Vowel Phonics 1 & 2 (minus the illustrations) along with additional new stories.
