Short Vowel Phonics

Short Vowel Phonics 1, 2 and Short Stories are available in library editions. The library editions contain the same stories as listed previously. However, the library editions do not contain worksheets.

Soft Cover

Short Vowel Phonics 1, 2 and Short Stories are available in the soft cover "booklet" editions. The text is printed on "80lb gloss text" paper. The covers of the booklets are printed on "80 lb gloss cover" paper. The booklets are sewn. Please see the pictures below

Hard Cover

Short Vowel Phonics 1, and 2 are available library quality hard bound editions. The text is printed on "80 lb silk" paper (a slightly matted paper to reduce glare to the young reader's eyes). The books were bound by San Val, Inc. of Steeleville, MO which is a member of the Library Binding Institute. The bindings are oversewn (Class A Library binding) and covered in "Group F Buckram". The spine of the books are wrapped with backlining cloth wrap to reinforce the binding. The books were made to handle repeated uses in a library's permanent collection and meet LBI standards.
